Logistics and Warehousing Manager

Role:
Ensures the leadership of the company's operations, from basic elements to complex operational processes, with the goal of achieving the company's objectives.
Leads and coordinates the Logistics and Transport activity and ensures the integration of all processes involved in the supply chain management, warehousing, and transport of goods.

Main responsibilities:

• • Contributes to business development by identifying solutions for streamlining and increasing the profitability of warehousing and transport activities;
  • Monitors the quality, cost, and efficiency of goods reception, storage, movement, and transport;
  • Carries out the entire activity of identifying, contracting, and tracking contracts for the rental and optimization of space in the cold storage warehouse;
  • Coordinates and supervises the transport of goods, ensuring that transport needs are met and that vehicles are efficiently operated;
  • Coordinates and supervises the maintenance and periodic control of work equipment and makes recommendations for optimization;
  • Identifies and manages property issues and requests for space modernization;
  • Negotiates contractual terms with suppliers of maintenance, repair, and equipment services, subsequently monitoring their execution;
  • Coordinates and supervises inventory management: reception, registration in the IT system, storage, transfers between warehouses, carrying out product loading and delivery – respecting the established process execution times;
  • Ensures that all support services and staff activities comply with health and safety regulations at work;
  • Plans, coordinates, and controls the activity of warehouse personnel and drivers;
  • Proposes and implements measures to optimize the flow of goods in the warehouse;
  • Reports the activities carried out to the senior management of the company.

Requirements:

• • Higher education (economics, technical, or transport profile);
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse coordination or in carrying out similar or related activities;
  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, communication, control, and reporting skills;
