Process Improvement Manager

We are Gedeon Richter Romania and we are looking for a Process Improvement Manager with good coordination, strategic thinking, organization, and expertise in the area of continuous process optimization. This is a unique opportunity for a professional in the field to initiate and coordinate a new function from scratch, with impact throughout the entire organization.

You are the person we are looking for if:

• You are a mechanical engineer/informatician/logistician or have a degree in economics.
• You have experience of at least 3 years in Continuous Improvement - Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt projects.
• You possess experience in using problem-solving methodologies (e.g. A3, Ishikawa, 5WHY).
• You are a proactive person who can work in a dynamic environment, oriented towards results. You have excellent planning and organizing skills, change management abilities, strategic thinking, analytical intelligence, team spirit.
• You know English at an advanced level (written, spoken).

This would be a plus for you:

Having experience in analyzing and optimizing operational processes.

Your main objective will be: to improve manufacturing and packaging processes.

The challenges you will face:

• Participating in creating and implementing the Operational Excellence strategy.
• Facilitating Excelență Operațională (VSM, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, TPM, A3) workshops.
• Leading Operational Excellence projects at company level.
• Participating in coordinating and executing the Operational Excellence project portfolio.
• Coordinating expert activities OpEx.
• Mentoring Operational Excellence project leaders.
• Offering training courses on Operational Excellence (5S, SMED, training for yellow and green belts, training for other LEAN tools)
• Ensuring connections with similar departments within the organization.
• Ensuring connections with experts.
• Evaluating and developing commercial and administrative processes, analyzing capacities.
• Implementing corporate KPI strategy at site level.
