Manager, Group Project Cost Control

JOB DESCRIPTION Methodology & Framework Implementation Applies the group's project cost control methodologies and standards at the project/programme level. Ensures project teams follow defined processes for estimation, forecasting, cost recording, and change control. Provides feedback to improve cost control practices and tools. Project Oversight & Reporting Monitors cost performance for assigned projects or programme clusters, including forecasting and variance analysis. Reviews monthly cost reports and provides recommendations for corrective actions. Identifies areas for process improvements and implements changes as needed. Collaborates with project managers to ensure that project financials are accurately recorded and reported. Develops and maintains a comprehensive project portfolio dashboard to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Provides guidance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control best practices. Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Communicates findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Project Cost Control & Forecasting Develops and maintains project financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation plans.
