Manager for Strategic Communications & Networks (m/f/x) e-Health | Berlin

Strategic communication for one of Germany's central future topics.

For our partner, we are looking for an experienced personality in Strategic Communications.

The organization plays a central role in the digitalization of the German healthcare system. Here, digitalization, healthcare, politics, regulation, and a multitude of different interests converge.

We are looking for a personality who can think strategically, presents themselves confidently in communication, and is also prepared to drive topics forward operationally.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for external strategic communication – from the development of overarching messages to consistent implementation across various channels.
• You will develop stories and content, translating complex topics into understandable and target-group-oriented communication.
• You will design and maintain exchange with stakeholders and multipliers, and support the expansion of relevant communication networks.
• You will coordinate and moderate events and support communication appearances of management and executive leadership.
• You will categorize communication content with regard to internal guidelines and sensitive information.
• You will manage external service providers and agencies and represent communication topics towards various internal and external stakeholders.
• You will contribute new ideas and participate in the further development of communication work.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a comparable field of study.
• Several years of professional experience in strategic and operational communication work.
• Experience in a complex, regulated, or politically influenced environment.
• Ideally, experience or industry knowledge in healthcare, Digital Health, digitalization, politics, Public Affairs, or a communications or PR agency.
• Experience in dealing with various stakeholders, and ideally with authorities or institutional actors.
• A good understanding of strategic external communication and a keen sense for sensitive communication content.
• Experience in working with executives and management, and ideally in moderating events.
• An independent, structured, and proactive way of working with the willingness to drive topics forward independently.
• Confident demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to win people over for topics.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
