Mission

As a Manager of a department at Carrefour Belgium, you are responsible for managing a department in a store. In this role, you report directly to the Store Director. You accompany your team on the ground and are responsible for the daily functioning of your sector.

• As a manager and coach, you lead your colleagues and create a genuine team spirit. You motivate and accompany them in their professional development.
• Thinking and acting like a merchant is your second nature. You spontaneously exploit opportunities that arise. You take decisions with full knowledge of the facts and based on the results of your department. Your reflections and initiatives contribute to the Carrefour of tomorrow.
• A efficient management of your department also requires that you excel in your administrative tasks. You pay particular attention to optimal order and stock management.
• You are aware that the retail sector demands flexibility, particularly in terms of working hours. You work on Saturdays, a busy day where we operate at full capacity.
• Your positivity, engagement, and dedication make you a true ambassador for Carrefour.

Profil

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree and/or have relevant experience in the retail, hospitality, or catering sectors.
• A first experience as a store manager, department manager, or coach.
• You speak Dutch.
• Your qualities: customer orientation and results, determination, planning and organization, flexibility, analytical spirit.

• A contract with no fixed term.
