Role Overview The FP&A AVP (India) leads the India-based Corporate Advisory function and directly manages Pod Leads who support FP&A and Controllership deliverables for more than 100 US portfolio clients. Unlike traditional FP&A roles that manage the finances of a single company, this role is responsible for leading teams that analyse, model, and report on the finances and performance of multiple client organizations. This person will act as the operational and technical bridge between US Corporate Advisory and India-based teams to ensure seamless delivery of services. The AVP will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and timeliness of deliverables. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. • Leading and managing a team of Pod Leads who support FP&A and Controllership deliverables. • Collaborating with US Corporate Advisory teams to ensure alignment and consistency in delivery of services. • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed. • Developing and maintaining knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements. • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Providing guidance and support to team members to help them develop their skills and expertise. The ideal candidate will have: • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • At least 8 years of experience in FP&A or a related field, preferably with experience in managing teams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Strong leadership and management skills. • Experience working with US-based clients and stakeholders.
