Manager Energy Operations & Metering (m/f/d)

re-green's mission is to free all German large offices from their CO₂. The real estate industry is responsible for 40% of German energy consumption and 36% of all CO₂ emissions. re-green offers property owners energy-efficient retrofitting without them having to invest. Our conviction: Every larger building will become a small energy company in the future. re-green develops and implements a standardized product bundle of heat pumps, photovoltaics, and batteries – combined with its own planning software and a prefabricated container approach.

Tasks

• Build and manage energy industry operational processes
• Responsibility for energy industry processes related to electricity supply and energy provision of our properties, development and advancement of standardized operational procedures, coordination of interfaces between customers, network operators, metering point operators, and service providers, ensuring high data and process quality.
• Metering & Measurement Systems
• Support of measurement concepts for PV systems, heat pumps, charging infrastructure, and property electricity models, coordination of meter installations, meter replacements, and commissioning, collaboration with competitive metering point operators, ensuring the availability and quality of measurement data.
• Network Operator and Market Processes
• Communication with distribution network operators and market partners, accompanying registration and re-registration processes, support with MaLo (Market Partner Data), MeLo (Measurement Data Registration) and master data processes, clarification of energy industry issues in project operations.
• Electricity Supply & Property Supply
• Support in the development of our electricity supply and tenant electricity processes, management of supply relationships in existing properties, contribution to the development of new energy products, collaboration with external billing and energy service providers.
• Billing & Data Management
• Plausibility checks of consumption and load profile data, support with electricity and heat billing, identification and correction of data and process errors, development of automation and digital workflows.
• Operations & Digitalization
• Contribution to the development of our re-green Operating System, definition of standards, templates, and processes, support in the selection and integration of new software solutions, close collaboration with project management, engineering, and management.

Qualification

• University degree or vocational training in the field of energy economics, industrial engineering, building services engineering, business administration, or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in the energy industry

• Experience in several of the following areas:

• Metering point operation

• Market communication

• Electricity supply

• Energy data management

• Billing

• Tenant electricity or property supply

• Network operator processes

• Interest in digital processes and automation

• Structured, solution-oriented approach to work

• Desire to take responsibility and build things yourself
