In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance activities at the heliport, ensuring optimal infrastructure operation.

Main Responsibilities:

1.      Forms part of the heliport's operational staff.

2.      Is directly subordinate to the responsible Manager.

3.      Performs duties in shifts.

4.      During duty, manages the Firefighting and Rescue Service and has two rescue agents under his supervision.

5.      Develops, maintains, and manages the heliport's technical system.

6.      Manages all heliport maintenance issues.

7.      Coordinates and supervises the maintenance activities of the economic agent providing maintenance services during the execution of works.

8.      Prepares and submits the Heliport Maintenance Manual and Maintenance Program for approval.

9.      Is knowledgeable of applicable legislation in the technical and maintenance fields.

10.  Updates heliport documents within his area of competence whenever necessary.

11.  Develops and maintains a system for recording equipment, maintenance works performed, deadlines, and warranties.

12.  Makes proposals for the budgeting of technical and maintenance activities at the heliport.

13.  Fulfills the duties stipulated in the heliport's programs, plans, and procedures as they pertain to his role.

14.  Knows the operation and use of all heliport equipment and the firefighting system.

15.  Knows and applies the provisions of the heliport's approved documents.

16.  During duty, coordinates operational activities at the heliport and cooperates with the Emergency Department and hospital departments regarding aeromedical activities conducted at the heliport.

17.  Complies with the Heliport Security Program.

18.  Must be knowledgeable of the Safety Management System requirements.

19.  Must continuously be aware of applicable civil aviation regulations and heliport documents.

20.  Participates in training exercises stipulated in the Training and Drills Plan.

21.  Constantly strives to improve the level of technical and specialized training necessary for the competent performance of specific activities.

22.  Carries out activities in accordance with his training and instructions, and with the instructions received, so as not to endanger himself or others who may be affected by his actions or omissions during the work process.

23.  Adheres to and respects the provisions of occupational health and safety legislation and the measures for their implementation.

24.  Reports events, incidents, attempts, or any other act of illicit intervention that occurred during duty to the heliport management.

25.  Fulfills other tasks, according to law and professional training, established by decision of the Heliport Administrator.

Requirements:

• Higher technical education, specialized courses;
• Physically and psychologically fit for fire prevention and extinguishing activities;
• Intermediate computer operation/programming skills;
• Relevant previous experience in aviation maintenance;
• Solid knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and electronics;
• Excellent organization, planning, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions;
• Certification in aviation maintenance is an advantage.
