Purpose & Scope The Manager, Group HSSE drives governance and L2 assurance for health & safety across all regions and business units. The role translates Group policies and standards into consistent, audit-ready execution plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. This includes developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, conducting regular audits and inspections, and providing training and awareness programs to employees. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a comprehensive HSSE governance framework that aligns with the company's overall strategy and objectives. • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to HSSE policies and procedures. • Identify and mitigate risks associated with health & safety, environmental, and social impacts. • Develop and implement effective training programs for employees on HSSE best practices and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with business units to develop and implement HSSE plans that align with their operations and objectives. • Provide guidance and support to employees on HSSE matters, including incident reporting and investigation. • Maintain accurate records of HSSE performance metrics, incidents, and corrective actions. • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and external experts. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the company's HSSE governance framework remains effective and compliant.
