Kijimea – From Research. For Your Life. Since our founding in 2011, we have pursued a clear vision: we want to specifically harness the potential of the microbiota (bacteria) in our gut for a longer and healthier life – for everyone.

We achieved a first major milestone on this path in 2013 with the discovery and clinical research of the unique bacterial strain B. bifidum MIMBb75 (Kijimea Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Since then, we have been able to noticeably improve the lives of millions of irritable bowel syndrome patients worldwide. Today, B. bifidum MIMBb75 is one of the most well-researched bacterial strains worldwide. Its effectiveness and its unique mechanism of action have been proven and published in numerous clinical studies – including in renowned journals such as The Lancet.

We work with leading research institutions such as Charité Berlin to investigate the connections between the microbiota (bacteria in our gut) and allergies, skin diseases, and psychological disorders. In short: we are investigating how the bacteria in our gut influence a longer and healthier life.

Your Mission With Us

Do you want to develop high-quality content for one of Europe's leading health brands in one of Europe's fastest-growing healthcare companies? Then you've come to the right place!

We are looking for a Manager Content Marketing / Copywriting (m/f/d) to create content for our Kijimea brand across various channels – from website and advertorial texts to newsletters and social media. Help us make the Kijimea brand – already one of the leading probiotic brands worldwide – even more successful through targeted content.

Your Responsibilities

• You will create high-quality texts for various platforms and channels, such as the website, content platforms, shop, and email newsletters.

• You will be responsible for researching studies, topics, trends, and relevant information to create well-founded and up-to-date content.

• Image research and image generation are also part of your responsibilities.

• You will create high-reach content (images + videos) for our social media channels.

• You will work cross-departmentally with teams such as Graphics, Online Marketing, and Product Management, and coordinate content publications.

• You will monitor and analyze performance to gain insights and evaluate campaign success.

• Maintaining and further developing communication guidelines will round off your tasks.

Your Profile

• You have successfully completed a degree or vocational training, preferably with a focus on communication or journalism.

• You have already gained professional experience in content marketing, editorial work, journalism, or PR – preferably in the health sector, pharmaceutical, or consumer goods industry.

• You have an interest in (scientific) health topics and a quick grasp of information.

• You have a strong understanding of social media platforms and their trends.

• You speak and write German at a native level (spelling, grammar, citation style); linguistic fluency and a confident style are a matter of course for you.

• You have very good research and analysis skills (image and text).

• You are open to further developing your own skills in the areas of content and text.
