Quality Manager

Schmitz Cargobull Oradea is expanding its team and is looking for a Quality Manager to coordinate the development and implementation of the quality strategy in a rapidly growing international company.

Responsibilities

• Coordination of the Quality department and team development.
• Direct reporting to the Plant Manager.
• Implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the quality management system.
• Monitoring of quality indicators and coordination of improvement plans.
• Management of customer complaints and coordination of analysis processes and corrective actions (8D).
• Implementation and use of specific quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Planning and coordination of internal, external, and customer audits.
• Collaboration with the Production, Engineering, Logistics, and Purchasing departments to prevent non-conformities and optimize processes.
• Root cause analysis and implementation of preventive and corrective measures.
• Ensuring compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and applicable legislation.
• Development of a quality culture and promotion of continuous improvement principles within the organization.

Requirements

• Higher technical education.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in a manufacturing company.
• Experience in team coordination.
• Solid knowledge of quality management systems and Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D).
• Experience in managing audits and customer relations.
• English language – advanced level.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
