Manager Architecture

This role will play a key role in overseeing and managing the structural and civil engineering operations in the architectural department. This individual will support and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of architectural and engineering projects. Key responsibilities of Senior Manager Architect will include, but are not limited to, Lead and manage structural and interior civil engineering aspects of architectural projects from conceptual design through construction administration; Manage a team of architects, engineers, and support staff, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance evaluations; Collaborate with project managers, clients, and consultants to ensure project goals, budget, and timelines are met; Review and approve engineering designs, calculations, and specifications, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations; Develop and implement engineering standards, best practices, and quality control procedures; Coordinate with other departments, such as construction, to ensure seamless project execution; Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations; Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and presentations to stakeholders; Manage project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities; Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality; Resolve technical issues and conflicts during the construction phase; Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures; Ensure all projects adhere to safety standards and regulations; Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team; Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license preferred; 7+ years of experience in structural or civil engineering, with a focus on building design; Proven experience in managing and leading teams of engineers and architects; Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills; Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously; Proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis programs; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Experience with project budgeting and financial management; Experience with construction administration and site inspection; Experience with preparing project proposals and presentations; Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus.
