Job description

About Us

Kijimea – From Research. For Your Life. Since our founding in 2011, we have pursued a clear vision: we want to specifically leverage the potential of the microbiota (bacteria) in our gut for a longer and healthier life – for all people.

We achieved a first major milestone on this path as early as 2013 with the discovery and clinical research of the unique bacterial strain B. bifidum MIMBb75 (Kijimea Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Since then, we have been able to noticeably improve the lives of millions of irritable bowel syndrome patients worldwide. Today, B. bifidum MIMBb75 is among the most extensively researched bacterial strains worldwide. Its effectiveness and unique mechanism of action have been proven and published in numerous clinical studies – including in renowned journals such as The Lancet.

We work with leading research institutions such as Charité Berlin to investigate the connections between the microbiota (bacteria in our gut) and allergies, skin diseases, and mental disorders. In short: we investigate how the bacteria in our gut influence a longer and healthier life.

Today, we are among the fastest-growing healthcare companies worldwide. We reach our customers through various channels: direct communication with doctors and pharmacists, as well as print, TV, and digital marketing. To further expand our strong growth in Europe, we are looking for outstanding talents to support us in this mission. Our goal is clearly defined: by 2028, we want to make Kijimea the world's largest DTC probiotic brand, thereby giving over 50 million people a better life each year.

Does this sound exciting to you? Then apply now! We look forward to getting to know you.

Your Mission With Us

Do you want to help shape the success of our health brands on Amazon and set new standards with creative, data-driven solutions? Then you've come to the right place!

As Manager Amazon, you will be holistically responsible for our Amazon sales channel, ensuring that our healthcare products are visible, available, and successful. Help us enable millions of people to live a longer and healthier life.

Your Tasks

  • You will develop a consistent, compelling, and performance-oriented brand presence on our Product Detail Pages (PDPs) as well as in our Amazon advertising.

  • You will coordinate and implement the execution of our Amazon advertising campaigns together with the online marketing team and act as a sparring partner to ensure optimal campaign and revenue performance.

  • You will create regular reports on revenue, market share, and campaign performance, and derive concrete recommendations for action from them.

  • In close coordination with our logistics team, you will plan inventory levels at Amazon and ensure reliable product availability.

  • You will be the central point of contact for our key accounts at Amazon and resolve operational issues such as product suspensions with creative and efficient solutions.

  • You will monitor competitors, market trends, and changes in Amazon policies, and derive optimization potential for our channel from them.

  • You will keep an eye on customer satisfaction, analyze reviews, identify trends early on, and coordinate closely with our customer service for customer inquiries.

  • You will be the first point of contact internally for Amazon-specific questions and will quickly and independently familiarize yourself with accounting and legal matters.

Your Profile

  • You have successfully completed your studies, for example, in Business Administration, (Digital) Marketing, or Business Informatics.

  • You have at least three years of relevant professional experience in an analytically driven environment, for example, related to online marketing (ideally Amazon) or as a Product Owner.

  • You are good at finding creative solutions and are characterized by your persistence and reliability.

  • You are communicative, but you are not afraid to work with forms if necessary.

  • You enjoy translating quantitative analyses into concrete recommendations for action, discussing them with top management, and implementing them independently.

  • You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and have experience with Amazon-specific tools such as Seller Central, Amazon Ads, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or Data Dive. Knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.

  • You have fluent German and English skills (minimum C1 level). Other languages such as French, Italian, or Spanish are a plus.

Our Promise

We offer you a diverse, challenging job with exciting tasks and a wide range of opportunities for development! Our innovative environment allows for your professional growth with short decision-making processes, responsibility from day one, and the freedom to forge new paths. Individual learning and genuine purpose await you – contribute personally to giving millions of people a new life!
