Manager Accounting / Projects & Digitalisation (M/W/D)

We are looking for a successful manufacturer of industrial components and drives with a seat in a charming city in the Lake Constance region. As part of a listed US-based corporation, they are a growth driver in their market segment and innovation leader. For the Accounting department, we are seeking an individual who can take operational action and successfully implement projects and initiatives within the framework of the Continuous Improvement Culture.

Tasks

• You will function as an expert and manager in all areas of accounting and be responsible for ensuring the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing works and related reporting according to US GAAP and HGB – including all statutory requirements for the location.

• In this role, you are responsible for planning and implementing digitalization tools as well as steering projects for continuous improvement within the Finance department.

• Ensuring precise and transparent accounting while meeting deadlines.

• Responsibility for all journal entries, including subsidiary ledgers (creditors, debtors, fixed assets).

• Monitoring and documentation of SOX compliance, including process descriptions and participation in internal audits.

• Conducting ad-hoc analyses as needed.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field – alternatively: certified accountant.

• Experience in comparable positions within an internationally active company.

• Proven ability to implement initiatives for digital transformation in the finance sector.

• Experience in leading projects while ensuring timely and budgetary compliance.

• Good financial expertise.

• Outstanding analytical and organizational skills.

• Experience with MS Office, ERP systems, and very good English language skills are essential.
