Management Trainee - Finance (m|f|d)

With our management trainee program, you will have the opportunity to get to know our company from different perspectives and actively participate in topics that shape our future.

Look forward to exciting insights and rotations through our business units: idealo, bonial, Axel Springer Tech, Head Office, BILD, and PREMIUM-GRUPPE (WELT, POLITICO Deutschland, and BUSINESS INSIDER Deutschland). During your 18-month trainee program, you will get to know various areas up close. Your permanent home base will be at idealo in the Finance department. From there, depending on the design of your rotations, you will gain insights into other areas of the Axel Springer Group. Depending on the opportunity, a rotation abroad may also be part of your trainee program.

Your Tasks

• You will be part of our Finance department and work on strategic and financial issues.

• In various assignments, you will get to know areas such as Corporate Development, Pricing, Strategic Intelligence, and Controlling.

• You will take on your own analyses and projects, evaluate business potentials, and derive recommendations for action.

• You will prepare your results in a structured manner in presentations and decision papers.

• You will collaborate with various teams and stakeholders at idealo and within the Axel Springer Group.

What You Bring

• A completed university degree, for example in Economics, Finance, Controlling, Business Administration, or a comparable course of study.

• Initial practical experience, ideally through internships or working student positions in a corporate or strategy consultancy, in-house consulting, corporate development, M&A, or controlling.

• You have already worked on analytical issues and can derive relevant insights from data.

• You have a good understanding of numbers and an interest in strategic and financial topics.

• You can prepare complex content in an understandable way and have experience in creating presentations.

• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner.

• You take responsibility, proactively approach others, and drive your topics forward independently.
