Management Accountant

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Management Accountant to join an electrical transformer manufacturer in Bellville. The Management Accountant will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the company, with the potential for growth into a Financial Manager position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management accounting, financial analysis, and strategic decision-making. They will be responsible for implementing and improving financial systems, analysing key financial data, and providing insights to support business strategies. Responsibilities: * Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts. * Budgeting and forecasting. * Variance analysis and reporting. * Cost accounting and control. * Inventory management and control. * Fixed asset management. * Assisting with the year-end audit. * Developing and maintaining financial models. * Providing financial support to other departments. * Identifying and implementing process improvements. * Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. * Qualified CA(SA) or CIMA preferred. * Minimum of 3 years' experience in a management accounting role. * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. * Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
