About the Role
As the Management Accountant, you’ll be the commercial backbone for a newly-won multi-million dollar facilities maintenance contract. Your focus will be to ensure the contract's finance KPIs are met and the team is delivering favourable client satisfaction results across the financial, data & risk management components of the contract.

About the Role
As the Management Accountant, you’ll be the commercial backbone for a newly-won multi-million dollar facilities maintenance contract. Your focus will be to ensure the contract's finance KPIs are met and the team is delivering favourable client satisfaction results across the financial, data & risk management components of the contract.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the accounting functions of the contract including full month end closure and commentary, weekly cash flow preparation, overseeing AP/AR, audits, reporting and all other duties as required.
- Understanding and overseeing end to end vendor claim process and client claim submission processes.
- Managing, supporting, and advising the well-resourced accounts/finance team as required.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders, including attending meetings when required with the client and contractors.

Your Skills and Attributes:
We are seeking a confident, resilient and tertiary qualified Management Accountant in accounting or finance or a related field. You will demonstrate direct exposure to facilities maintenance, construction, or facilities service-based industries. As a self-starter, and innovator, consistently thinking of solutions to problems, rather than being given the answers will see you fit perfectly in.
You will be confident in:
- Understanding facilities services/maintenance contract structures around financial invoicing with high volume work orders, schedule of rates and clients KPIs.
- Be an expert in high-volume data handling with advanced Excel/data manipulation capability with a strong analytical mindset.
- Accrual accounting including preparation and deep analysis of monthly financial reports.
- Supporting and guiding a small team of junior members
- Membership of CA/CPA or ICCA or substantial progress in attaining membership.
- Expertise in use of financial information systems/applications as well as industry software packages such as CMMS.
