Job Description He aha te tūranga - About the role: The Major Incident Support Team (MIST) plays a crucial role in ensuring that Hato Hone St John delivers a world-leading response during major incidents and large events. The MIST volunteers are non-clinical and support the Ambulance Operations and Event Health Services teams at planned and unplanned events during periods of high workload or crisis. This could include major sporting events, festivals, concerts, as well as responding to major incidents such as earthquakes, floods, or fires. As a member of the MIST team, you will be part of a dynamic group that works together to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and event attendees. Your role will involve providing support to our clinical teams during periods of high demand, ensuring that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with other members of the MIST team, as well as our Ambulance Operations and Event Health Services teams, to ensure a seamless response to major incidents.
