The Role
This is a hands‑on Maintenance Technician role (Electrician, Fitter or Millwright) within the timber processing operations. You’ll help keep the plant running smoothly, ensuring heavy machinery and timber‑processing equipment stay operational and safe.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance, repairs and servicing on mechanical and electrical machinery.
• Diagnose faults and undertake troubleshooting on mills, conveyors, kilns and other timber‑processing plant equipment.
• Assist with breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and safety documentation.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth timber‑processing operations.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in heavy industry, timber mills, sawmills, mining, refineries or similar environments.
• Trade qualification: Electrician, fitter and qualified millwright will really excite us
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work safely in industrial / production plant environments, awareness of safety practices.
• A can‑do attitude, reliability and commitment to quality work under pressure.
