Job Title: Maintenance Team Leader Location: Durban Description: RPO Recruitment is currently representing a well-established manufacturing company in their search for a Maintenance Team Leader. Primary Responsibilities: Lead a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment and facilities. Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including routine maintenance, repairs, and predictive maintenance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate records of work performed. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements. Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance. Secondary Responsibilities: Coordinate and participate in the development of the maintenance budget. Identify and prioritize capital projects for equipment upgrades and replacements. Monitor and control costs related to maintenance activities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
