Maintenance Supervisor

Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor in Zaandam. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and coordinating daily corrective and preventive maintenance activities. You will lead mechanics and work planners and collaborate closely with contractors to ensure a safe and reliable maintenance process.

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Preparing, monitoring, and coordinating daily corrective and preventive maintenance activities on mechanical, electrical, sanitary, and instrumentation systems,
• Leading the team of maintenance mechanics and work planners,
• Coordinating work carried out by suppliers and contractors,
• Advising on and reviewing work preparation,
• Advising on, controlling, and adjusting the annual preventive maintenance plan in the ERP system where necessary,
• Participating in the preparation and execution of maintenance and investment projects, including maintenance shutdowns and plant modifications,
• Overseeing the compliance of contractors with NORIT's safety regulations,
• Supervising the daily activities of mechanics, suppliers, and contractors.

Requirements

• A completed technical education at MBO or HBO level,
• More than 10 years of relevant maintenance experience within a chemical or petrochemical production environment,
• Demonstrable experience in a managerial maintenance role,
• Good ability to set priorities and maintain an overview,
• Excellent communication skills at both production and management levels,
• A practical, hands-on mentality and strong problem-solving skills,
• Stress-resistant and capable of acting effectively in a dynamic production environment.

• A gross annual salary of €60,000 to €80,000, including holiday pay and a 13th month, depending on your knowledge and experience,
