Maintenance Supervisor (m/f/d)

In a nutshell

As a Maintenance Supervisor (m/f/d), you will work in our new Fulfilment Center in the Berlin/Brandenburg region (Falkensee) with highly automated intralogistics systems from top brands such as Apollo, Qimarox, and Regal Rexnord. You will take on operational responsibility for maintenance during your shift and lead our team of Maintenance Technicians.

You will set priorities, ensure safe and structured working methods, and be the central point of contact between Maintenance and Operations. In the event of critical disruptions, you will take the lead and, together with your team, ensure that our systems are up and running again quickly.

Your leadership skills, technical understanding, and hands-on mentality are in demand to ensure that approximately 10,000 orders reach our customers on time every day.

What awaits you 

• Lead & Develop Your Team: You will lead the Maintenance Technicians during your shift, coach them in their daily work, and support their development.
• Manage Your Shift: You will set priorities, coordinate maintenance activities, and ensure high quality and system availability.
• Manage Critical Disruptions: You will coordinate your team during technical problems and work closely with Operations to minimize downtime.
• Ensure Safety & Structure: You will ensure that our safety standards are adhered to and that a clean and structured working method is maintained.
• Drive Improvements: You will identify areas for improvement and implement Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement measures together with your team.
• Collaborate Across Departments: You will coordinate closely with Operations, Maintenance Engineers, and external maintenance partners.
• Fair Salary with Perspective: An annual gross salary starting from €70,000, assessed through annual performance reviews, for your personal and financial development.

What you bring to the table

• You have a completed technical apprenticeship with further training as a technician or master craftsman, or a completed technical degree (Bachelor/Master), e.g., in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
• You have 10+ years of experience in a technical or maintenance environment, ideally in an automated, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
• You have at least 3 years of leadership experience, e.g., as a Team Lead, Lead Technician, Supervisor, or in a comparable role.
• You have a hands-on mentality and understand both the technical and operational aspects of maintenance.
• You have experience with Lean, 5S, and Continuous Improvement and enjoy implementing these principles practically on the floor.
• You work in a structured manner, take responsibility, and maintain an overview even during critical disruptions.
• You speak fluent English (knowledge of German is a big plus).
