Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Engineer

Job description

Job Description: Lead planning, design, and implementation of MRO engineering activities related to land systems. Develop and review technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, repair procedures, and engineering change requests (Mechanical and Hydraulic systems). Conduct technical analysis and troubleshooting to resolve complex engineering challenges in mechanical and hydraulic systems. Collaborate closely with operations, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to optimize maintenance processes and ensure system reliability and availability. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and address the underlying causes of failures, implementing corrective actions. Manage and oversee the execution of maintenance and repair activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards. Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in MRO engineering, preferably within the land systems domain. Proven experience in the development and review of technical documentation, including maintenance manuals and repair procedures. Strong understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex engineering issues. Experience in conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing corrective actions. Familiarity with maintenance planning and scheduling software. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, FEA). Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Engineering. Professional Engineering (PE) license.
