Job description
We are looking for an experienced developer, who has a passion to bring in their know-how and at the same time go new ways.
In this key position, you will be responsible for building and implementing a comprehensive maintenance process landscape that ensures the safe, compliant, and economical operation of our fleet.
Specifically, this means:
- Gathering with our partners to develop a complete maintenance system for new fleets – in line with EBO, ECM regulations, CSM-RA, and other relevant guidelines
- Defining standards, workflows, and interfaces for all maintenance processes – from preventive maintenance to troubleshooting and accident response
- Establishing professional interface management between maintenance service providers, workshops, manufacturers, and the EVU
- Developing requirements management for our maintenance infrastructure and representing maintenance interests in the construction and procurement process
- Safeguarding that the developed maintenance system is fully and seamlessly implemented, integrated, and sustainably anchored at our partners and internally – including clear responsibilities, data flows, and process interfaces
- You bring your railway experience to shape processes that are practical, safe, and efficient
In this role, you will be responsible for building and implementing a comprehensive maintenance process landscape that ensures the safe, compliant, and economical operation of our fleet.
You have a completed degree or comparable qualification
You bring more years of experience in railway maintenance – e.g., from workshops, ECM organizations, vehicle manufacturers, or EVU.
You work structured, self-responsible, and keep an overview even with complex topics
You communicate clearly and connectively – in German and English (C1), Spanish is a nice-to-have
You are travel-ready
- You shape a maintenance system from the start – without outdated structures
- You work in an environment that quickly makes decisions and allows innovations
- You have real influence on safety, availability, and quality of our fleet
- You bring your railway experience to build something new – instead of just managing existing processes
