Maintenance Planner

Job Description AFFCO Wairoa currently has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Planner to join their engineering team. Reporting to the Plant Engineer, the Maintenance Planner will monitor general maintenance for all departments, coordinate contractors, source quotes for projects, monitor the R&M log controls and liaise with Supervisors to ensure that production requirements are met. Responsibilities include: Planning all R&M jobs and ensure appropriate parts are ordered in a timely manner; Coordinating with contractors to ensure work is completed efficiently and effectively; Sourcing quotes for projects and ensuring best value for money; Monitoring the R&M log controls to ensure accurate recording of maintenance activities; Liaising with Supervisors to ensure that production requirements are met. Requirements: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities; Experience working in a similar role or industry is desirable.
