Maintenance Lead-Hamilton, ON

As we expand our Hamilton, ON operations, we are looking for a Maintenance Lead to help shape and manage our Maintenance Department and ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operations of our metal processing equipment and facility infrastructure. The Maintenance Lead will oversee all maintenance activities, including preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, and will lead a team of maintenance technicians to support our production goals. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and implement maintenance strategies, procedures, and systems to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. * Manage and prioritize maintenance work orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to safety standards. * Oversee and coordinate all preventative maintenance activities, including inspections, servicing, and repairs. * Manage the maintenance budget, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities. * Lead, train, and mentor the maintenance team, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and teamwork. * Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards. * Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effectiveness. * Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues, providing technical expertise and support. * Collaborate with other departments, such as production, to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions. * Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, new technologies, and maintenance trends. **Qualifications:** * Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a metal processing environment. * Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. * Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. * Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs. * Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. * Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software. * Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. * Completion of a recognized trade certificate or diploma in a related field (e.g., Millwright, Electrician). **Benefits:** * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Opportunities for professional development and advancement. * A positive and supportive work environment. * Health, Dental, and Vision coverage * Life Insurance * Paid time off
