Maintenance Fitter

Fresh Meats NZ Ltd is a boutique Napier-based lamb processor, proudly operating year-round to produce premium meat products for both the domestic and export markets. We’re looking for a qualified and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our dedicated team. You’ll work closely with the Plant Engineer and be hands-on in maintaining and repairing equipment, machinery, and tools within our processing facility. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic company where you can develop your skills and contribute to the production of high-quality meat products. As part of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, conducting repairs and troubleshooting issues with equipment and machinery, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently. You’ll also be expected to maintain accurate records of your work and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive process efficiencies.
