Maintenance Fitter - Food Manufacturing
Our client is a leading food manufacturing group, producing some of the most loved frozen savoury and meal products across Australia and New Zealand. They're looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join their team and help keep production running safely and efficiently.
The Role
In this role, you will provide hands-on engineering support to ensure all production and service equipment meets operational standards. You will assist during breakdowns, resolve issues quickly, and step in to operate the line when needed.

- Qualification in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Industrial Electrical trade qualification and EST A&B license advantageous
- Experience in FMCG or industrial manufacturing
- Knowledge of heating generation, pumping, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding
- Experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment, preferably in food processing
- Experience with breakdown and preventive maintenance
- Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and proactive maintenance skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team
- Strong problem-solving skills, including fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic, and complex mechanical systems
- Ability to identify and implement improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance
