Maintenance Fitter (Expat opportunity)

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the building materials sector is looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventative and breakdown maintenance on our full clay brick production line to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
• Expertly troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults, minimising production downtime.
• Guarantee the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all plant machinery.
• Maintain precise records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to ensure seamless operations.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have Proven, Hands-On Experience With:

• Steel 90 Extruders
• Clay Feeders & Clay Mixers
• Brick Side Cutters
• Conveyor Systems
• Brick Packaging Equipment

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Red Seal Trade Test Certification (Fitter / Fitter and Turner) is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5-10 years' maintenance experience within a heavy industrial environment (clay brick, ceramics, cement, or mining is highly preferred).
• Exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving skills under pressure.
• A strong, demonstrable commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
