Maintenance Fitter

Company
Your new company is a well established international food manufacturer with over 50 years of experience overseas and 30 years here in Australia. With demand for their products increasing they are currently in need of an experienced maintenance fitter to join their team on a fixed day shift.

Role
In your role as the maintenance fitter, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the plant including carrying out preventative works and responding to breakdowns. This will also include fault finding and installation of new machinery/capital work projects. Completing preventative maintenance services to a variety of equipment such as conveyors, mixers/extruders, packaging/sealing machines, labelers etc.

Requirements
The successful candidate will have:

• Trade qualifications as an mechanical fitter
• Previous experience in FMCG/manufacturing sites
• Strong RCA/troubleshooting ability
• Previous experience with food or packaging machinery will be highly desirable
• Any stainless steel fabrication/welding experience will be highly desirable
