Maintenance Fitter – Food Manufacturing - Afternoon Shift

Western Sydney - $50 - $55 an hour + Loading + Overtime + Super

A leading food manufacturing facility in Western Sydney is seeking a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern, high-performing site offering day, afternoon, and night shifts, competitive pay, and regular overtime.

The Role: You’ll be responsible for delivering both preventative and breakdown maintenance across the site. This includes fault finding, repairs, equipment installations, and ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and breakdowns
Support root cause analysis and follow-up actions
Keep detailed records of maintenance tasks and repairs
Collaborate with production teams to ensure equipment uptime
Comply with GMP, WHS, and site standards

About You:

Trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter with 3+ years' experience
Background in food manufacturing, high-speed packaging, or FMCG
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Welding and lathe experience (advantageous)
Able to work under pressure and respond quickly to breakdowns
Solid understanding of GMP, safety protocols, and maintenance systems
