Maintenance Fitter

Job Description AFFCO Wairoa is seeking an experienced and motivated maintenance fitter. This position will join the existing trade team to help ensure that plant assets are managed and maintained in a way that enhances the company’s short- and long-term objectives. This role is an integral part of our operation, and we require someone with a positive, can-do attitude and someone who works extremely well within a team. You will need to be able to demonstrate the following key requirements for this position: • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in maintenance and repair of plant equipment; • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces; • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes; • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively; • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically; • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the growth and development of the company.
