Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d) - Automation & Maintenance

Our Fulfillment Centers are among the most modern of their kind and supply thousands of households with fresh groceries daily. Next, we are opening our new hybrid Fulfillment Center in Falkensee near Berlin.

As a Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of Automation & Maintenance, you will work with modern intralogistics, conveyor technology, and automation systems from manufacturers such as Apollo, Qimarox, and Regal Rexnord. In this role as Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure that our highly automated material handling systems run at maximum performance. You will independently resolve maintenance issues and implement sustainable technical improvements.

With your technical know-how and hands-on mentality, you will ensure that up to 10,000 orders arrive at our customers' doorsteps on time every day.

What awaits you 

• Troubleshooting: You will identify and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults in technical systems, working closely with our operational teams.
• Collaboration with Suppliers: For complex problems, you will work directly with machine suppliers to find solutions.
• Analysis and Improvement: You will analyze faults, prevent their recurrence, and implement sustainable improvements.
• Preventive Maintenance: You will perform preventive maintenance to ensure maximum system availability.
• Continuous Optimization: You will initiate and implement improvements to make our systems smarter and more efficient.
• Fair Salary with Perspective: An annual salary starting from €70,000 gross, assessed through annual performance reviews, for your personal and financial development.

What you bring

• A completed apprenticeship, further training as a master craftsman or technician, and/or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a technical field (e.g., mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, mechatronics, automation)
• You have 7+ years of experience in a technical maintenance or upkeep role
• Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as experience with automated conveyor technology, material handling systems, or intralogistics systems
• You are familiar with using software tools such as CMMS and PLC-based control systems
• You have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a team
• You are independent, take initiative, and solve problems in a goal-oriented manner
• Fluent German and English skills
