Maintenance Engineer, dairy factory, Sunshine Coast - to $60/hr

This established manufacturer has been crafting premium cheese, fresh milk, yoghurt, and gourmet dairy products for over 50 years, combining traditional techniques with modern manufacturing sophistication. Location: Sunshine Coast hinterland - easy commute from anywhere across the Sunshine Coast Salary: Up to $60 per hour overtime at 1.5-2x base rate Position: Full-time, permanent, days only As part of a close-knit engineering team of 3, you'll be responsible for maintaining the mechanical integrity and functionality of dairy processing equipment, including pumps, valves, pipes, and tanks. This will involve performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment, as well as troubleshooting and resolving minor issues. You'll also assist in the planning and execution of larger-scale projects to improve efficiency and reduce downtime. In addition, you may be required to work with other departments to resolve technical issues or provide support for new product development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience working in a similar dairy processing environment. You'll need to be physically fit, able to lift 25kg and stand for long periods. A current driver's license is also essential.
