Job description
As a Maintenance Engineer, you are responsible for the management and optimization of our (traffic) technical installations, primarily for the Ghent-Antwerp axis. You ensure their performance, reliability, and compliance with current laws and regulations.
- You oversee the daily functioning of technical installations and ensure efficient and timely maintenance with minimal disruptions.
- You draw up multi-year plans and maintenance programs, based on RCM and data-driven methodologies.
- During the construction phase, you monitor aspects such as maintainability, and after delivery, you ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- You analyze data to propose optimizations to the client and actively contribute to policy development within the maintenance department.
- You actively think about maintenance strategies for complex DB(F)M projects.

Profile
As a Maintenance Engineer, you largely meet the following requirements:
- You have obtained a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical, business administration, or management-related field.
- You have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in a comparable role.
- Thorough knowledge of legal requirements is a must.
- You possess strong analytical skills and have experience with data-driven maintenance and optimizations.
- You master the Dutch language fluently, both orally and in writing. Basic knowledge of French or English is a plus.
- You are flexible and willing to travel between locations such as Harelbeke, Ghent, and Antwerp.
- You have an affinity with sustainability, infrastructural processes, and a customer-oriented approach.
