Maintenance Engineer – Cluj

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and technical operations in a office building. The ideal candidate will coordinate a team of technicians, ensure optimal performance of building systems and equipment, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise a team of maintenance technicians (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, etc.).

Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems and equipment.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Manage service contracts and relationships with external suppliers and contractors.

Monitor energy consumption and propose efficiency improvements.

Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and performance documentation.

Support facility upgrades, refurbishments, and technical projects.

Respond promptly to equipment failures or emergencies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field).

Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Know how in coordinating  a team of technicians.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good command of English (both written and spoken).

Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software (CMMS experience is an advantage). Will be tested in the interviewing process.
