Maintenance Electrician

*This position works a continental shift rotation* OVERVIEW: The primary purpose of the Maintenance Electrician is to ensure the facility and machinery are efficiently maintained to optimize production. As a member of the RS team, this position will support an organizational culture that cares for other's well-being through best practices in health and safety, in addition to the company's values of respect, integrity, quality, teamwork and professional growth. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform building and equipment maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Collaborate with other maintenance team members. Order and maintain inventory of electrical parts and supplies. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program or equivalent experience. Valid Journeyman Electrician license. Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, and control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Proficient in the use of electrical testing equipment. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. BENEFITS: Competitive salary.
