Maintenance Electrician

Job Description We’re looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our Henderson site (Alto). The role reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for the maintenance of all electrical site equipment as well as achieving targeted levels of availability through planned preventative, corrective and reactive electrical maintenance where required. Your key responsibilities will be to: Ensure all electrical systems and equipment comply with NZ Electricity (Safety) Regulations; Perform routine inspections and testing on electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a safe and reliable condition; Identify and report any defects or malfunctions in electrical equipment; Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating electrical equipment, to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime; Troubleshoot and rectify faults in electrical systems and equipment; Conduct root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence; Collaborate with other team members to achieve site goals and objectives; Maintain accurate records of work completed, including maintenance activities, defects found and repairs made.
