We are building our digital products in a new, AI-native product team with five clear roles: Prototyper, Builder, Sweeper, Grower, and Maintainer. Each role has its own mandate in the product lifecycle, from the initial idea to reliable operation. Work will be done on our online campus, our websites, our shop, and on new AI-supported learning and sales products.

Do you want to ensure that a product holds up as soon as people rely on it? As a Maintainer (m/f/d), you will keep our mature systems fast, secure, and available while user numbers and functional scope grow. You will automate operations, make the state of the systems visible at all times, and bring incidents to a structured and calm end. We are open to experience levels: Junior to Senior is possible. What counts is your enthusiasm for creating great results together with AI tools.

• Availability & Performance: Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and target values for availability and response times
• Automate Operations: Map deployments, updates, backups, and restoration via Infrastructure as Code and pipelines
• Resolve Incidents: Systematically isolate, resolve, document causes, and prevent recurrences of incidents
• Security: Continuously monitor patches, dependencies, access rights, and data protection requirements
• Costs & Capacity: Make cloud costs transparent and plan capacity for growth in advance
• Campus Operations: Keep our learning platform stable and up-to-date with the external service provider
• AI as a Tool: Accelerate log analyses, runbooks, and recurring operational tasks with AI tools
• Collaboration: Design handovers with Builder and Sweeper and make operational knowledge available within the team

• Completed university degree in a technical field, for example, in Computer Science, Engineering, or Computer Science
• Experience in operating web applications in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Knowledge of containers, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code, for example, Docker, GitHub Actions, and Terraform
• Proficient in monitoring and observability, for example, Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry, or uptime monitoring
• Linux knowledge as well as basics in network and database operations, including backups
• Scripting or development skills, for example, Python, Bash, or TypeScript
• Experience with PHP and Moodle environments is an advantage
• Enjoy using AI tools for analysis, automation, and documentation
• Calm, systematic troubleshooting and responsibility for running systems
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing and good English language skills

• Full home office or hybrid work at our locations in Munich, Leipzig, or Hanover

• Fixed salary + commission + performance bonus + €100 (full-time) monthly company pension after 6 months + 15% subsidy on own contribution + attractive employee discounts
