JOB DESCRIPTION: CAFÉ MANAGER - FULL TIME

SALARY: $72,000 to $80,000 per year

The Café has been operating since 2018, specialising in the service of specialty coffee, modern brunch and burgers. ABOUT THIS ROLE:

We are now on the lookout for a Full Time Café Manager to assist in delivering the Company’s key values. This role holds the responsibility to work closely alongside higher management in facilitating and implementing the Company procedures across the daily functions of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Café Manager role is responsible for the following:

• Managing and motivating the team
• Managing the daily functions of the business
• Ensuring effective communication and concerns are relayed to higher management in a timely manner
• Maintain and ensure company procedures and regulations are adhered to
• Monitor quality control across FOH and BOH
• Ensure stock and inventory control, including monitoring the quality of stock received
• Training and skill development of employees
• Coordinating the rostered schedule, making changes where required
• Ensure a high focus on customer service and relationship development
• The essential skills required for this role include the following;
• Ability to work and lead/motivate a large team
• Ability to work under high pressure, in a calm and diplomatic manner
• Availability to work around a seasonal schedule
• Excellent interpersonal skills toward all members of the team
• Relevant experience in the industry and comprehension of what each role brings to the business
• Highly organised and punctual
