Magazziniere (Protected Categories L. 68/99) - NH Palermo - Minor Hotels - Southern Europe

Hosco Opportunity reserved to Protected Categories L. 68/99. As a Magazziniere, you will be responsible for the receipt, conservation, and distribution of supplies and equipment necessary for the daily operations of the two hotels in Palermo: NH Palermo and NH Collection Palermo Palazzo Sitano. What will you do? - Receive deliveries of goods, store perishable products correctly, and rotate stock by department. - Inspect deliveries and dates to verify freshness, cleanliness, quantity, and quality of lots. - Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or erroneous articles. - Perform other tasks related to inventory, including return, packaging, price determination, and labeling of supplies. - Communicate promptly to the supervisor/manager low levels of stock. - Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals from the warehouse. - Check invoices to verify correctness of prices and quantities and follow up on payment process. - Assist in preparing reports, summaries, and/or analyses of costs and other documents, if necessary. - Maintain a clean, organized, and well-organized work area. - Follow all departmental sanitary regulations and customer service guidelines. What are we looking for? - At least 1 year of experience in performing similar functions. - Professional training on management/finance/hospitality. - Knowledge of accounting and inventory management. - Familiarity with various computer programs (Microsoft Office, etc.). - The knowledge of the local language is essential, and English is valuable. - Good administrative and organizational skills. - Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently. - Attention to detail. - Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
