Warehouse Operative - E-commerce Parcel Picking and Packing

Your responsibilities

• Receiving goods deliveries into the warehouse
• Checking the conformity, quantity, and quality of goods against documents
• Picking orders in accordance with customer orders
• Packing parcels appropriately for transport
• Organizing warehouse space and maintaining order in the workplace
• Cooperating with other company departments to ensure smooth flow of documents and goods

Our requirements

• Good physical fitness and no contraindications for manual labor - daily manual handling of parcels and goods (no forklifts, maximum parcel weight approx. 30kg)
• Diligence, responsibility, and care for entrusted property - errors in picking and packing are costly and affect customer experience
• Attention to order - a clean and organized workstation is the foundation of our work
• Good self-organization, ability to work in a team and under time pressure - everyone works independently and responsibly, everyone knows what to do, but no one is left alone with a problem
• Order picking skills, taking into account quality standards - we use barcode scanners that help avoid mistakes

Nice to have

• Experience in warehouse operations or e-commerce
• Knowledge of BaseLinker and/or Subiekt NEXO systems
• Interest in sewing, DIY, or sewing machines
• Experience in assembling, servicing, or operating sewing machines
• Knowledge of safe packing and preparing shipments for transport
• Driving license category B - if needed for occasional transport tasks

Szyj po swojemu Sp. z o.o. is a company that has been developing for years in the field of sewing machines and sewing accessories. We are one of the leaders on the market and are constantly growing, providing our customers with both home and professional machines, as well as specialized equipment for sewing rooms and industry. We run the online store SzyjPoSwojemu.pl, where sewing enthusiasts can find everything they need - from sewing machines, embroidery machines and overlockers, to mannequins, parts, and accessories.

In the warehouse, every day looks similar - thanks to this, the work is organized and without chaos. We pick orders, pack parcels, receive deliveries, and maintain order. Once a week, we do a major clean-up, but every day we leave our workstation clean.

We use BaseLinker, Subiekt NEXO systems, and barcode scanners, which help eliminate errors and streamline work. We do not use forklifts - everything is done manually and in a well-coordinated team.

The salary is fully legal and everything is on the contract - both the basic salary, as well as bonuses and allowances. We do not pay anything "under the table" because we value transparent principles.

We work from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm (you have free afternoons and weekends), but sometimes, with a large number of orders - we start a bit earlier on Mondays. During periods of increased sales, there is the possibility of additional paid and rewarded work on Saturdays - only for volunteers. On Fridays, if everything is done, you can finish earlier. Breaks at work are paid, and if you need to sort something out during the day - we are flexible. In addition: relaxed atmosphere, no dress code, coffee, tea, water, Christmas gift packages, integration events, and from time to time something sweet.
