Traditional Mason

AXIA INTERIM 54 is recruiting a Traditional Mason.

The traditional mason performs construction works using classical building techniques. He/she works on new constructions or rehabilitation projects. The mason realizes walls, partitions, foundations, slabs, etc.

You will be responsible for:

• Implementing horizontal structures (foundations, slabs, floors, etc.) according to construction plans.

• Realizing surface and chape aspects to ensure a smooth and uniform finish.

• Masonry of bearing elements (bricks, blocks, stones, or plaster tiles)

• Fabricating and placing formwork with included ferrous elements.

• Placing and sealing prefabricated elements such as sills, lintels, cornices, and staircases.

• Creating openings in existing walls and performing deconstruction of parts of structures (windows, doors, or trusses).

• Performing finishing work on walls and surfaces

• Retailing drainage networks for wastewater and rainwater.

• Erecting scaffolding and staging

• Ensuring the completion of works and respecting quality standards.

Profile sought:

• Autonomous with a strong sense of work and teamwork spirit.

• Physical resistance (carrying loads) and ability to work in varying conditions (outdoors, heights, etc.).

• Mastery of masonry techniques.

• Knowledge of resin and mortar specifics.

• Capacity in masonry, Bac Pro Building or equivalent.

• Mobile with a B permit and personal vehicle.
