Machine Operators – Plastics Manufacturing

We are currently recruiting Machine Operators to join a well-established plastics manufacturing company in Blackburn. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career in production within a supportive and growing organisation.

Pay Rate: £12.69 per hour
Hours of Work: Continental Shift Pattern – 12-hour shifts (6am–6pm / 6pm–6am)

Week 1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat, Sun (60 hours)

Week 2: Wed, Thu (24 hours)

Rotating: 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights

Operate blow and injection moulding machinery for the production of plastic products.

Perform quality checks and inspections on finished goods.

Accurately record production data, including parts, rejects, and weights.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety procedures.

Ensure good housekeeping standards and smooth handovers between shifts.

Previous experience in manufacturing or machine operating is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures and best practices.

Familiarity with using PPE.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reliability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
