Machine Operator (with Millwright Qualification) – POS25213 Based: Centurion Salary : R20 000.00 – R25 000.00 pm Summary The Machine Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production machinery while ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality output. Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified Millwrights or who are currently studying toward their Millwright Trade Certificate, as this background allows them to support maintenance and technical troubleshooting activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include: • Operating and maintaining production machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. • Conducting routine inspections and performing minor repairs to prevent equipment failure. • Collaborating with maintenance personnel to resolve technical issues and implement improvements. • Maintaining accurate records of machine operation, maintenance, and repair activities. • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste. • Working safely and following established safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. • Adhering to quality control standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. • Providing support to the production team as needed.
