Machine Operator - FMCG (Day Shift, Hastings)

Location: Hastings
Rate: $28.75 per hour
Shifts: 12-hour shifts, 3 days on / 3 days off (6:00am - 6:00pm)

We're seeking a reliable and motivated Machine Operator to join our team in Hastings. This role offers stable hours, a great roster, and the chance to be part of a supportive crew.

• Operating machines and assisting with production

• Carrying out simple quality checks (temperature, appearance, etc.)

• Recording checks and noting any unusual activity

• Cleaning equipment and work areas to meet food safety standards

• Assisting with loading/unloading and supporting machine breakdowns (under guidance)

• Performing small equipment checks before and after use

• Working closely with a small, dedicated team

• Valid forklift license

• Previous machine operating experience (essential)

• Physically fit (12-hour shifts, hands-on role)

• Ability to pass a drug test

• Clear criminal record

• Legal right to work in New Zealand
