Machine Learning Engineer

About the Role Halter’s Pasture team is dedicated to helping farmers better manage their most valuable resource—pasture—for greater productivity, profit, and sustainability. To provide the highest quality insights to farmers, we’re building upon the bleeding edge of scientific advancements with unmatched access to rich, novel data to develop a cutting edge agricultural modelling system. You’ll play a pivotal role on the machine learning team within Pasture, building advanced models of pasture growth, soil health, and livestock dynamics. You will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning algorithms to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to farmers. This role requires a strong foundation in machine learning, data analysis, and programming, as well as the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. You will be working closely with the data science team to develop and refine models, and will be expected to contribute to the development of the team’s technical capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for agriculture and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the industry.
