Laminator Operator - Corrugating Department

For a company operating in the paper and packaging sector, we are looking for a Laminator Operator to be assigned to the production facility in Lonigo (VI).

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate possesses:

3-5 years of experience in the role, gained in paper manufacturing or packaging sector companies;

Experience in operating, preparing, starting up, and setting up cardboard laminating lines;

Knowledge of Fosber machinery (corrugators and laminating lines);

Knowledge of the corrugated cardboard production process;

Excellent ability to manage machine setup (speed, pressure, gluing, and production parameters);

Experience in adjusting glues and gluing systems according to technical specifications;

Good ability to read production orders and technical data sheets;

Basic mechanical skills for routine plant maintenance;

Attention to quality standards and control of product tolerances;

Operational problem-solving skills and anomaly management;

Precision, reliability, and good interpersonal skills;

Teamwork aptitude;

Availability for two-shift work (6:00 AM-2:00 PM / 2:00 PM-10:00 PM) and potential night shift;

Residence in Lonigo (VI) or surrounding areas or willingness to relocate.

Main Duties

The resource will be integrated into the laminating department and, reporting to the Machine Supervisor / Production Manager, will be responsible for:

Operation and management of cardboard laminating lines;

Machine startup and adjustment of production parameters (speed, pressure, gluing);

Continuous monitoring of the process with timely interventions in case of anomalies;

Management of format changes and material preparation;

Constant quality control of the finished product according to company standards;

Adjustment of gluing systems and verification of correct adhesion;

Execution of routine maintenance and maintaining plant efficiency;

Collaboration with the maintenance department for extraordinary interventions;

Completion of production documentation;

Participation in the department's continuous improvement activities.

Probationary period as per National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL)

Non-holiday two-shift work (6:00 AM-2:00 PM / 2:00 PM-10:00 PM)

Night shift only in case of production needs

Compensation commensurate with experience

(indicatively: CCNL Grafici, approximately €35,000 - €40,000 gross annual salary)
