Tax Lawyer - Insurance - Milan, Italy Angove Partners is partnering with a top tier insurance underwriter, seeking an Tax Lawyer in Milan to join their team as a Senior Tax Underwriter. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in Corporate Tax at a law firm. What is the role? As a member of the underwriting team on transactional insurance deals, you will handle a variety of workstreams in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The role will be very hands-on and practically focused, requiring strong analytical skills and attention to detail. You will be responsible for: • Conducting thorough due diligence on potential transactions; • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and other relevant documents; • Collaborating with underwriters and other stakeholders to develop and implement insurance policies; • Providing expert tax advice to clients, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations; • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. What are the requirements for this role? • 3+ years of experience in Corporate Tax at a law firm; • Strong understanding of Italian tax laws and regulations; • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; • Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
