M&A Manager*in | Scaling Phase

In a nutshell:

You are exactly right at Matera if you want to develop, steer, and successfully implement the M&A and build-up strategy of a scale-up. You will be responsible for Matera's strategically most important growth project, ensuring maximum value from each acquisition, building our future M&A-Integrationsteam, and taking direct influence on growth, profitability, and the further development of acquired companies, including participation in selecting new takeover candidates. The goal is to integrate at least four acquisitions independently by the end of 2026.

Tasks

Your role at Matera:

• You will lead each integration from start to stabilization and ensure the achievement of operational and financial goals.
• You understand corporate cultures, communicate clear integration plans, and accompany teams safely through changes.
• You are responsible for data-, tool-, and process-integration, including accounting migration and business-case fulfillment.
• You build the M&A-Integrationsteam and develop scalable standards and playbooks.

Qualification

You bring:

• You have experience with complex projects and many stakeholders.
• You work structured, independently, and keep priorities in mind.
• You possess high emotional intelligence, build trust quickly, communicate clearly and persuasively, and make sure personal decisions.
• You have a good understanding of data & CRM (HubSpot is advantageous), are familiar with email workflows (Front is advantageous), and are very proficient in Excel.
• You speak German at C2 level, English at business level, and French knowledge is advantageous.
